Our story
Chelsea Group is a proudly Nigerian, family-founded enterprise committed to nation-building through service to God and service to neighbour. For over forty years, we have created jobs, built resilient businesses and transformed communities across hospitality, education, agriculture and real estate.
Our journey began with Patnasonic Industries, pioneering electronics in Alaba International Market, Lagos. We expanded into furniture with Chidol Properties, crafting pieces for homes and hotels, and launched our hospitality journey with Chelsea Suites in Lagos, followed by Chelsea Hotels in Abuja and Lagos.
Along the way we built CELLCOM, a telephone company later sold to MTN, contributing to Nigeria’s telecoms revolution. Today our subsidiaries in hospitality, real estate, education, agriculture and energy work together toward a single goal: progress for all Nigerians.
