Jahi is a developing district in the Phase 2 region of the Federal Capital Territory, located towards the north of Abuja city centre. It is mainly a residential area, with only a handful of commercial structures and spaces.
Jahi is one of Abuja’s outer districts, positioned close to two of the city’s most popular districts, Jabi and Gwarinpa, whose very active commercial presence residents of Jahi can easily tap into.
A steadily increasing, affluent population is going hand in hand with a thriving real estate sector. Accommodation is relatively affordable despite the district’s location in Abuja’s Phase 2 area and, with ongoing development, Jahi is one of the fastest-growing districts in the city.
The architecture

Chelsea Flats is being developed by architect Toby Chidolue. As drawn, the three-storey building is arranged as two mirrored wings around a central stair core.
The design, as visualised, pairs crisp white rendered façades with timber-clad accents, deep-set terraces and glass-balustraded balconies.
